How to Create the Essence of Spring in Your Home with Aromatherapy

One of the most wonderful things about spring (other than signaling the end of winter) is the tapestry of scent it ushers in. Rouse your home from winter hibernation and turn your thoughts toward a new season by creating fresh aroma’s throughout your home.

Paris In Spring

Diffuser – Fill diffuser with water. For every 1 oz. of water, add these essential oils: 10 drops of French Lavender and 5 drops of Bergamot.

Massage Oil, Cream, or Lotion – Mix 2 oz. of unscented oil, cream, or lotion with these essential oils: 5 drops of French Lavender and 2 drops of Bergamot.

Polish or Scrub – Mix 4 oz. of salt or sugar with 1 oz. of carrier oil of your choice. Stir until well blended. Add the following essential oils: 10 drops of French Lavender and 5 drops of Bergamot.

Orchard Blossom

Diffuser – Fill diffuser with water. For every 1 oz. of water, add these essential oils: 20 drops of Neroli, 10 drops of Sweet Orange, and 10 drops of Grapefruit.

Massage Oil, Cream, or Lotion – Mix 2 oz. of unscented oil, cream, or lotion with these essential oils: 10 drops of Neroli, 5 drops of Sweet Orange, and 5 drops of Grapefruit.

Polish or Scrub – Mix 4oz. of salt or sugar with 1 oz. of carrier oil of your choice. Stir until well blended. Add the following essential oils: 20 drops of Neroli, 10 drops of Sweet Orange, and 10 drops of Grapefruit.

Spring Rain

Diffuser – Fill diffuser with water. For every 1 oz. of water, add these essential oils: 20 drops of Lemon, 5 drops of Peppermint, and 2 drops of Vetivert.

Massage Oil, Cream, or Lotion – Mix 2 oz. of unscented oil, cream, or lotion with these essential oils: 10 drops of Lemon, 3 drops of Peppermint, and 1 drops of Vetivert.

Polish or Scrub – Mix 4 oz. of salt or sugar with 1 oz. of carrier oil of your choice. Stir until well blended. Add the following essential oils: 20 drops of Lemon, 5 drops of Peppermint, and 2 drops of Vetivert.

Diffuser – Fill diffuser with water. For every 1 oz. of water, add these essential oils: 10 drops of Rose Absolute, 10 drops of Lemon, and 2 drops of Peppermint.

Massage Oil, Cream, or Lotion – Mix 2 oz. of unscented oil, cream, or lotion with these essential oils: 5 drops of Rose Absolute, 5 drops of Lemon, and 1 drops of Peppermint.

Polish or Scrub – Mix 4 oz. of salt or sugar with 1 oz. of carrier oil of your choice. Stir until well blended. Add the following essential oils: 10 drops of Rose Absolute, 10 drops of Lemon, and 2 drops of Peppermint.
